Introduction

The Public Interest Foundation (PIF) is a non-profit organization that has been set up by a group of public spirited people to focus on issues and matters that concern and impact on welfare and larger interest of the society.

PIF seeks to actively follow the execution of public policies and programmes in area of civic concern including healthcare, sanitation, education and security with a view of seeking to improve the efficiency of public delivery system.

PIF is registered under the Registration of Societies Act, 1860 (Registration no. S/60918/2008), Union Territory of Delhi.

Our Goal

Our goal is to support organizations involved in developing the country’s Healthcare, Sanitation, Education, and Security etc. by aiding them through funding, advocacy and providing partnership to successful existing models. The Foundation will be an enabler helping grassroots level organizations to reach out to a larger public with their objectives.

Our Commitment

PIF is being launched on Republic Day 2008 to appropriately reflect commitment to serve the people of India particularly those who have not yet been empowered to enjoy their rights guaranteed under the Constitution.

PIF is backed by the Neotia Foundation with a corpus of Rs. 10 Crores.
